Did you know that there are 24 dialects of American English? And, no, I’m not just talking about accents! A dialect is a specific form of a language, often attributed to a geographical location or group of people. In most cases, people speaking different dialects can understand each other, but certain vocabulary, grammar, expressions, etc. are different.
